Key responsibilities may include:
Develop and deploy AI solutions that enhance legal workflows, including contract review, document classification, knowledge management and workflow automation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys, legal operations, compliance and engineering teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases.
Act as a product developer and owner from concept to rollout-defining requirements, developing proofs of concept, collecting feedback and iterating solutions.
Integrate large language models (LLMs) and other AI technologies into existing systems (e.g., document management, eDiscovery, CLM, or knowledge bases).
Evaluate and integrate third-party legal AI tools and platforms as needed, ensuring compatibility and compliance with internal systems.
Maintain strong documentation and governance around data usage, model performance and ethical AI standards.
Stay current on emerging trends in AI, machine learning and legal tech to help shape the department's AI strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML or automation solutions in production environments.
Strong programming skills in Python (proven ability to quickly master new frameworks and tools).
Demonstrated experience with modern AI architectures including context engineering, tool use and retrieval augmented generation.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong product development mindset-able to translate business needs into practical, scalable AI tools.
Prior experience in or exposure to legal tech or legal operations.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent experience
Strong experience in developing and evaluating scalable ML/DL features, demonstrating a passion for understanding and improving model/data quality
Strong programming skills and hands-on experience using one of the deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow or Jax.
2+ years of experience or equivalent in large-scale data processing using programming language Java, Scala or Python.

Description
The Software Delivery Engineering team within Apple's Enterprise organization builds and maintains the platforms that enable the delivery of Apple's enterprise services at scale. You'll develop innovative solutions that make our internal platforms smarter, faster, and more resilient-enhancing the productivity of engineers and ensuring that enterprise users worldwide receive reliable and seamless experiences.
Responsibilities
Design and implement core components of Delivery platform that improve build, test, and deployment workflows for Apple's enterprise products.
Develop internal tools and frameworks that use Generative AI to enhance automation, code analysis, documentation, and developer assistance.
Explore how LLM-based solutions can improve operational intelligence, such as predictive build health, self‑healing deployments, and contextual code guidance.
Collaborate with service owners, Dev & QA engineers, and SRE teams to ensure software is built and deployed with maximum efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to architectural discussions and drive initiatives that simplify and scale software delivery across multiple product lines.
Identify and prototype new AI‑driven approaches to improve test coverage, release confidence, and observability in complex distributed systems.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer
Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and on‑premises environments.
Strong understanding of modern software release strategies and metrics‑driven continuous improvement.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across cross‑functional engineering and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, and GitLab CI.
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
Proficient in using observability and monitoring stacks like Mosaic, Grafana, Prometheus, and Open Telemetry.
Experience applying AI/ML techniques to software delivery, test generation, anomaly detection, and workflow optimization.
Hands‑on expertise with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for automation, developer tooling, observability, and intelligent data processing
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. We're looking for a software engineer with a unique blend of experience and interest in systems, architecture, network and software development practices. You will be part of a forward‑thinking and dynamic team responsible for supporting Apple's Edge Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, test, develop, and maintain software solutions to address configuring the Edge.
Support our dynamically evolving global Content Delivery Network.
Troubleshoot issues within the infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with domain‑specific languages (DSLs), versioned and compatibility of configurations, interpreter concepts, and configuration developer tools.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols like HTTP, TLS, or TCP/IP.
Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes such as Helm, Pulumi, Flux
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with proxy systems such as NGINX or Envoy.
A passion for solving complex problems at scale and driving technical innovation.

We're the System Experience Setup team. We build Setup Assistant, the software that guides every iPhone, iPad, and Mac customer to set up their new device.
