What You Do:
As a Lead or Assistant Appliance Installer, you will be responsible for professional delivery and installation of a variety of home appliances and electronics. You will communicate with internal sales team members, management, and our customers on a daily basis regarding the scheduled installations, as well as provide those customers with basic instruction on product setup and use.
Your Background:
High School diploma or GED required Valid Texas DL required Leads: At least 2-3 years of appliance delivery/installation including general knowledge of related plumbing and electrical components; working knowledge of basic home audio/video installation including TV, speakers, etc. Assistants: At least 1 year of general product delivery experience Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude Experience using pallet jacks, wheeled dollies, and other logistics equipment Ability to lift objects over 100 lbs (with assistance) Ability to adapt to frequent changes Strong work ethic and adherence to a regular schedule Availability to work any days (8am-6pm), except Sunday

Responsibilities:
* Able to perform basic appliance installation and possess the desire to learn custom appliance installations.
* Accurate handling and installation of basic gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
* Ensures the installed appliances are damage free, accurately installed according to manufacturer's specifications and are fully functioning.
* Interact expertly and courteously with builders, designers and on-site customers - you take care of a vast array of customers.
* Attend company paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date on all product changes.
Qualifications:
* 1+ years of experience with Appliance Delivery & Installation Service is preferred.
* With the assistance of lifting equipment such as stair climber, oven lifts, and/or air sled, must be able to lift 50+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally.
* Ability to deliver "white glove service" to customers, excellent customer service skills are a must!
* Valid state issued license is required.
* Mechanical skills and willingness to learn - plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills are preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

The role of an Appliance Installer is designed to assist our Showroom and Branch with installing appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, ice machines, wine coolers, over the range microwaves, 46" plus oven ranges and more. The Appliance Installer will be responsible for installing such products in efficient and effective manner while displaying courteous and polite demeanor for production home builders; as well as custom and semi-custom built homes.
Job Duties:

- Load/unload vehicles with equipment to be delivered / installed

- Maintain work site in a clean and orderly condition
