Responsibilities will include: * Review plans and specifications to generate proposals. * Prepare submittals and manuals per the customer/spec requirements. * Perform design calculations and prepare equipment selection. * Support outside sales team and customers with equipment sizing, selection, specification, pricing, engineering presentations, and ordering. * Analyze boiler system parameters to design for system optimization and/or requirements. * Generate specifications for equipment selected. * Generate proposals for outside sales review prior to going to the customer. * Generate designs using internal tools. * Assignments require the investigation of a number of variables. * Answer technical questions from sales team, internal employees or customers. * Assist in troubleshooting service issues in the field with technical documentation. * Ability to communicate the technical aspects of the equipment being sold or worked on, at any level. * Works closely with Sales, Parts, Service and Billing in total project assistance from quoting to invoice. * Read and understand wiring and P&I diagrams. * Understand and apply knowledge of how instrumentation is used in a process * Communicate with engineers and contractors regularly to ensure product applications are understood. * Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. * Pumps and piping systems experience * Minimum 3-5 years of experience. Preferred Skills * Technical knowledge of hydronic systems (design, engineering, etc.) * Technical knowledge of boiler systems (design, engineering, etc.) * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office * Ability to maneuver through different computer software programs * Efficient * Organized * Good communication skills * Ability to multi-task * Must have a can/will attitude * Problem solving skills * Willingness to adapt to change * Ability to self-direct and work independently * Initiative * Must possess a strong desire to learn * Ability to travel as required ( * Knowledge of CRM software * Ethical conduct Additional Notes * Travel for training may be required. * This job operates in a professional office environment. * Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. * Conform with all safety rules.
