Position Summary:
Engineering a well-defined section of a larger project or acting as a project engineer on a small project.
Control panel concept and design based online up information from the Project Engineer. The Controls Engineer will take standards and formats given to him/her by the Project Engineer and incorporate them into a part of the project.
Guarantee the workability, completeness, and accuracy of all designs. Controls Engineers shall be able to properly design all aspects of a control panel. Complete designs include all aspects of a control panel from schematics to layouts and Bill of Materials.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer regarding schedule, design concepts and other status information on areas of concern.
Ensure that designs are consistent with other designs on the project.
Participate in internal and external design reviews of deliverables.
Ensure that all designs meet either Fori or customer standards.
Fully document and maintain engineering records for incorporation into engineer's job book.
Write software on assigned areas. Controls Engineers shall understand ladder logic, MMI and C++ programming.
Perform start up and stand by on assigned areas. Controls Engineers shall be able to operate and debug machinery.
Provide engineering liaison to manufacturing and field service departments.
Educaton and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.

The role of the Controls Engineer is to assist in the design and programming of control systems for conveyor and/or AS/RS material handling systems. This person will create work packages, create construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope or work schedule. This person will be in charge of owning their own field work where they will be taking notes, pictures, measurements and will ultimately be in charge of the designing the project construction plans. The work will be developed using Geographic Info rmation Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems. The project work will require performing engineering calculations that may include structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop and flicker, and coordination of protective devices.
Required Skills & Experience:
0-3 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering

Role Overview:
The Process Engineer will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality to LuxWall's R&D and Factory Manufacturing lines. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis: Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Process Design: Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and techniques to enhance productivity and quality.
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Quality Control: Ensure that all processes comply with quality standards and regulations.
Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product quality.
External Contractors: Lead mechanical and electrical contractors to install necessary equipment in a safe manner and have appropriate engineering controls to ensure safe operation.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless process integration.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of process changes, improvements, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support ISO and IATF.
Training: Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physical Science or Engineering Technology Degree.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools. Experience with 2D or 3D design software, a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering MEP drawings. Extensive experience formulating and managing project schedules using WBS and Gantt charts.
Structural Knowledge: Knowledge of building codes, laws and regulations.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Project Management: Experience in managing process improvement projects from inception to completion.
Quality Focus: In-depth knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Certifications: Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable.
