Cleaveland/Price specializes in the design and manufacture of high voltage disconnect switches and switch automation products. The products that we offer are unique in design, and some include patented features. All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq. ft. multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA. The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.

Your Goal

Communication Skills:
Effective communicator, able to present complex technical information clearly to technical audiences
Able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Mathematical/Engineering Skills:
Competent in advanced mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Highly skilled in spreadsheet-based calculations and applications.
Capable of working with equations of motion, basic mechanical concepts, and servo control theory.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Organizational Skills:

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking Field Applications Engineers whose primary duties will include assisting customers by implementing and adapting the latest communications and signal processing. This position is a challenging mix that combines technical know-how and customer service skills both in-house and when traveling to our customer's facilities.
Additional Duties:
Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and upgrading systems including both hardware and software components.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure successful deployment and operation of products.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, listening to their concerns and needs with professionalism and technical insight.
Acts as a liasion between customers and internal teams, especially sales and engineers, to communicate feedback and identify potential business opportunities.
Document service activities, system performance, and customer feedback in a clear and timely manner.
Support technical training and onboarding for customers when needed.

Candidate Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in computer science or equivalent
Position may require candidate to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance.
Must have ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Experienced with device control interfaces, such as I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet.
Familiar with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols.
