An enterprise technology organization is seeking a full-time Operations Support Engineer to support cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives as part of the Fiscal and Administrative Services (FAS) division. This role provides strategic and hands-on technical expertise for projects involving the migration of applications from on-premises and AWS environments into Microsoft Azure.
Key applications in scope include multiple legacy, administrative, and operational systems currently hosted on-premises and in AWS.
The Operations Support Engineer will play a critical role in shaping the solution vision, executing technical implementation, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Primary focus areas include modernizing authentication, defining network and security architecture, implementing Infrastructure as Code, advancing cloud security frameworks, and supporting complex cloud networking and automation across multi-cloud environments.
This position requires a hybrid work model with a combination of remote and in-office days per week.

Responsibilities
Lead and support cloud modernization initiatives spanning on-premises, AWS, and Azure environments.
Design and implement cloud solutions leveraging Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Provide guidance on application modernization, including authentication, networking, and security enhancements.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation across cloud platforms.
Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking, routing, firewalls, and interconnects.

Required Qualifications
10-15 years of expert-level experience designing and supporting public cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS also relevant).

Multiple long-term (6+ month) engagements in a DevOps, Azure Support, or Cloud Engineering role.
Hands-on experience performing on-premises to cloud migrations.
Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-304, or equivalent.
Strong background in Windows Server administration.
Proficiency with PowerShell.
Experience with development languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Engineer is responsible for timely and accurate performance in fundamental, routine construction-related tasks for both project management and field construction activities.
Depending on the size and/or scope of the project, the Project Engineer will assist the Project team with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Supporting the oversight and management of multiple projects from preconstruction through the closeout/warranty period
Prepare detailed schedules (including Pre-Con, Procurement, Construction, and Close-out), and monitor and update schedules weekly. Utilize look-ahead schedules and collaborate with the team
Anticipating client needs, documenting, and tracking progress with regular communication. Managing all project document control within Procore
Prepare Agendas and run progress meetings, owner/architect meetings, and subcontractor pre-installation meetings. Accurately document discussions and distribute meeting minutes within 48 hours
Process submittals and RFI's, and work with the Site Superintendent to determine tasks requiring prioritization
Education
Requires a bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
· Minimum of three (3+) years' experience in construction or a similar role preferred
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
· Working knowledge of Procore is desirable
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred

In all other markets, the base salary pay range for Consultant level is $96,000-$135,000 and for Senior Consultant level it is $110,000-$155,000.
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
