ARM Group LLC is seeking a self-driven Project Engineer who is looking to grow and embodies an ownership mentality. The primary function of this position is to assist with the planning, design, permitting and construction oversite of multi-disciplined projects to include active non-coal mining and quarry related projects, restoration of abandoned mine lands, post construction stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control planning. The position will require a working knowledge of civil and environmental engineering best-practices with a focus on identifying, communicating, and solving engineering and permitting challenges that may impact a project's overall feasibility, cost, or constructability. In addition to early-stage due diligence and engineering coordination, the position will also require project management responsibilities including: local on-site support interfacing with regulators and other officials to support permit approvals; communicating with clients on technical issues or concerns; performing engineering calculations; preparing detailed designs, construction administration, budget management, and QA/QC of projects in construction.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
Coordinate the development, design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.
Assess and mitigate project risks.
Perform and/or check technical calculations.
Use the principles of engineering to develop solutions to permitting, design, and construction challenges.
Provide technical support for projects.
Research regulations, codes, zoning ordinances, and other requirements as needed to ensure project compliance.
Prepare reports, letters, emails, permit applications, etc. for projects.
Observe, monitor, and document fieldwork while analyzing problems and possible solutions.
Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on projects and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
Effectively communicate with key stake holders including clients, project managers, CAD designers, and other technical members of the project team.
Proactively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
E.I.T. Certificate required.
3+ years of engineering experience including Post Construction Stormwater Management design, Erosion and Sediment (E&S) design and PADEP permitting.
Competence with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Knowledge of PADEP regulations, including Noncoal Mining, Erosion & Sediment Control, and Dams/Waterway Management.
Solid oral, written communication, and public speaking skills. Should be articulate, assertive, and confident.
Strong technical writing skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise, and defensible reports, permit applications, and regulatory correspondence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the creation of quotes and project proposals for all Bender products.
Actively assist internal and external stakeholders (Sales members, Reps, Customers, etc. ) with product selection, application assistance and troubleshooting.
Responsible for the completion of the order validation processes for the industries and products assigned.
Provides technical support (Level 1 & Level 2) for inquiries from internal and external stakeholders (Sales members, Reps, Customers, etc.)
Ensure customer technical cases and inquiries are resolved with support of internal and external stakeholders, act as the middle-man to support organization to ensure client escalations are addresses in due time.
Ensure accuracy and compliance of CRM database quality.
Assist and provide input for the creation of training modules, blogs, webinars, etc.
Follow all Bender Inc. Safety Policies and Procedures, as well as the safety requirements of our customers where applicable.
Other Duties
Over Night Travel (5-10%)
Occasionally attend Trade Shows and Working Group Meetings.
Support Channel Partner On-Boarding Training Management and Education.
Customer Visits: Troubleshooting/Testing and/or Education when requested by Regional Sales Managers.
Back-up for Order Entry, sales customer inquiries and Level 1 technical support when applicable.
Responsible for reducing the number of obsolete products used by recommending and quoting newer product offerings or the most relevant alternative.
Suggest modifications for more efficient, streamlined processes and contribute to standard operating procedure creation.
Creation of project submittals per customer request as needed.
Complete reports & metrics as required by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Required
2+ years related industry experience (Engineering Design, Consultation, Systems and Controls, etc.)
Ground fault application and device knowledge preferred
Familiar with industry standard, including NFPA 70, NEC, UL Standards, IEC standards, and other standards related to electrical equipment
Understanding of electrical systems including single & three phase AC and DC systems
Ability to read/understand schematic drawings, panel schedules and specifications preferred
SAP and Salesforce experience preferred
Highly efficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

You will also use your technical expertise to advise internal and external customers. This position requires you to closely interact with project managers, salespeople, programmers, and assigned project staff to assist with the timely completion of each project. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

o Interpret design drawings and specifications
o Submittal development and preparation consisting of control wiring diagrams, airflow diagrams, piping systems diagrams, BAS equipment selection, floor plan generation, sequence of operation, valve schedules, and damper schedules
o Complete or review BAS submittals, as-builts, bid documents, and mechanical drawings as requested
o Prepare material requisition lists for project managers
o Provide application engineering support, product research, and technical documentation to field technicians, project managers, and installation contractor as needed
o Integration of multiple vendor systems to the building automation system
o Engineer multiple projects
o Meet with contractors and consulting engineers regarding project design and submittal approval
o Attend job meetings, as required, to fulfill contract requirements
o Assist with customer and associate training
o Offer support to project managers on projects between $20K and $5M
o Assisting with managing the clients' expectations and communicating needs to the project team
o Ensuring harmonious working relationships with our key partners
o Identifying and communicating risks and roadblocks to the successful completion of the project and work with management to resolve
o Ensuring quality of the end solution through implementation of our standard project and development processes
o Must be customer service oriented and be able understand & manage numerous client/customer relationships
