Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience, education, or training in coding computer applications; programming experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications: * 5+ years full lifecycle development with COBOL in IBM zOS mainframe (DB2 databases). Software development experience must be current (within the last year) and must be in support of a large-scale, complex application system. * 5+ years developing relational databases, including logical design, understanding of physical design components, and complex SQL accessing a large, complex application database. * 5+ years CICS development experience. * Experience working as part of a large (30+) software development team using structured procedures and guidelines. * Familiarity with tools: Abend-Aid, File-Aid, QMF/SPUFI, Xpediter, IDCAMS, DB2 Load/Unload, Syncsort * Experience in Medicaid/claims processing systems Other: Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln.
