    CLASS TITLE: PAPILION SUPPORT PERSONNEL PURPOSE OF THE CLASSIFICATION: To work as support personnel in the indoor and outdoor areas of the Papilion at Honor Heights Park for the City of Muskogee, Parks and Recreation Department. Communicate with the public in a polite, friendly manner. * Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls and provide information as necessary. * Conduct tours of the facility. * Have a working knowledge, and assist with facility programs and rentals. * Operate Point of Sales (POS) operating system. * Prepare daily deposits for supervisor review. * Receive and restock merchandise as needed, and assist with inventory control. * Assist with maintaining a clean facility and grounds. * Complete opening and closing tasks including cleaning restrooms, and picking up trash. * Assist with facility rental set-up/clean up. * Participate in preparing chrysalises for butterfly house. * Maintains and cares for gardens and landscapes, including tasks like planting, watering, and pruning. * Maintains flowerbeds, borders, and other plant areas, including mulching and raking leaves. * Assists guests with admission charges, gift shop purchases, venue program/rentals, and facility related questions. * Performs other work as necessary or as assigned. * Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
