The Senior Government Accounting Manager is responsible for compliantly developing Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and the annual Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) for the GE Aerospace Defense & Systems organization. This role will partner with functional organization leadership to enable the business to have compliant operating practices, policies, and indirect rates that enable maximum compliant recovery of cost on US Government contracts. The desired candidate must excel in the analysis of financial data and will be responsible for the full rate lifecycle including rate generation, government financial reporting, audit support, forecasting, variance analysis, and the submission of final indirect rates. In partnership with the business stakeholders, the US Government Accounting Controllership (GAC) Rates team, and GAC North America Technical team, this role will lead the continuous improvement of the FPRP and ICS process using lean concepts.
