Key Responsibilities The primary focus of this job will be to manage projects that implement automation in DDP manufacturing that reduces cost, SLH, cycle time, and quality defects. The role is based in Austin, but will implement projects both in Austin and Singapore. Projects may be coordinated with the Automation Technology Group (ATG) and/or manufacturing groups from other BUs. Will prepare project plan and coordinate the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains project plan to detail and easily explain status, resources, and next steps. Will drive project deliverables and task details by through the use reports, tracking charts and, checklists. Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project. Monitors, and reports to the business unit on project's progress and cost performance. Will participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects. Will contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals. Will research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in project management or operations • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) • Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic sustainment environment • Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance (US Citizenship Required) Preferred Qualifications: • A degree in a science, engineering, or a business program • Experience in material requirements planning (MRP) system (Costpoint, SAP, etc.) • Understanding of creating and executing work in accordance with an integrated master schedule (IMS) • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
