Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and clear documentation, including calibration logs and machine status. Work with Maintenance to ensure proper machine tagging and applicable repairs are completed and documented.

Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Management: Monitor and analyze daily labor times, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other tracking reports using web applications. Monitor daily production schedules and ensure production and quality goals are met. Train new team members, sharing knowledge and ensuring they understand production processes and quality standards. Support the Team Leader to ensure their guidance is being instructed and understood across the production team.
* Production Oversight: Review and comply with engineering drawings, shop order operations, and sequence to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production. Perform detailed inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment as necessary. Support the production line to have all needed supplies, components, and paperwork available at all times.
* Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration within the department and with other departments to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and achieve organizational goals.
* Adherence to Policies: Ensure adherence to Applied Quality Systems (QS) including SOP's, MI's, QI's, TM's, engineering drawings and shop order operations and sequence.
Position Requirements
* High school graduate, General Education (GED) or relevant work equivalent.
* 3+ years working in a machine shop, preferably with Milling and Swiss Screw machines, such as Star, Citizen, Haas, Makino, Matsurra, and Tornos Deco.
* Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting of CNC machines.
* Proven leadership, direction, training, and coordination in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work on 2nd shift.
* Ability to ensure adherence to Applied Quality Systems (QS) including SOP's, MI's, QI's, TM's, engineering drawings and shop order operations and sequence.
Preferred
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges in the production process.
* Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
* Work flexible and extended hours as needed.
* Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of finished products.
* Willingness to explore innovative machining techniques and technologies.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changes in machining processes or technology.
* Experience with any of the following machines including Star, Citizen, Deco, Makino, and/or Matsuura.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
