Purpose
This role is responsible for the Operational Technology Infrastructure (OTI) at Roseburg plant sites. ALL COUNTIES GLASS DISTRIBUTORS A growing Glass Fabrication and Distribution company in the Stockton, California area is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Maintenance Tech. Assistant. The successful candidate must be mechanically inclined with a basic knowledge of Electric Motors, bearing replacement, good trouble shooting skills, preventative maintenance and fabrication (welding) skills.
This person must be willing to learn our unique Glass Fabrication systems and equipment that we use in the processing of various types of glass and glass products, apply the basic concepts and theories of preventative maintenance, repair, replace and systems management in a timely and safe manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Willing to learn a new trade and grow with our company.
* Work under direct supervision of Maintenance Manager and shift supervisor.
* Ability to work occasional overtime and possible night emergency calls needed.
* Experience in maintenance/mechanical repairs related to production machinery a plus.
* Excellent problem solving and independent decision making skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* No previous experience is required; however any previous Glass Handling experience is a major plus.
* Must be able to Lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 occasionally.
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Ability to read, write and speak in English. (Bi-Lingual is a plus)
* US Citizen or Green Card holder
* Must pass pre-hire drug screen, Physical and Physical Ability Tests.
