Responsibilities * Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants. * Negotiate for ROW options, easements, fee interests, and curative documents while adhering to company price policies. * Prepare and present property transfer agreements and legal documents. * Assist in developing construction lines based on landowner conditions and restrictions. * Support construction activities by ensuring unobstructed access to project areas. * Settle damage claims caused during construction or maintenance. * Maintain detailed diaries of all landowner interactions and negotiations. * Keep accurate logs of payments and prepare weekly activity reports. * Update project files, ROW maps, records, drawings, and exhibits. * Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, as well as project safety plans and company acquisition policies. Essential Skills * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Proficiency in negotiation and sales. * Experience in land acquisition. * Ability to maintain detailed documentation and reports. * Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety plans. Additional Skills & Qualifications * High School Diploma required. * Associate's degree or higher in business, sales, customer support, or related field is a plus. * Experience with customer service. * Experience in door-to-door sales or canvassing is a plus. * Ability to take direction and fill out reports. * Experience doing research. * Ability to read and interpret reports, appraisals, and land surveys after training. Work Environment The role requires 75% of the time to be spent door-to-door explaining the program and gathering information. The remaining 25% of the time will be spent in the office making calls, conducting research, and similar tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
