Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Daily Operations. Ensuring timely receipts of product and optimize the scheduling process by coordinating / implementing / communicating with customers and other Buckeye support personnel.
Constant Communication. Communicating with the Allentown Control Center regarding pipeline related activities and communicating with 3 party pipeline companies to ensure products that are received comply with Buckeye specifications and meet the Quality Assurance Program.
Testing and Sampling. Performing the applicable product sampling and testing as required.
Monitoring and Analyzing Trends. Monitoring quality instruments and trend and react to abnormalities as required and monitoring manifold and piping contents to ensure product compatibility issues.
Schedule Management. Reviewing and monitoring pipeline schedules for accuracy and notifying applicable scheduler / shift lead with any concern or question.
Inventory Control. Performing daily stock work / inventory control, including climbing tanks for manual gauge as schedule permits.
SCADA. Logging Meter data, tank data and product quality data received on the SCADA computer system.

Personnel Training. Staying current with relevant trainings and OQ's that are needed to perform the Controller I job.
Maintenance. Performing routine maintenance and other duties as requested.

What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $33,000 - $41,000 annually. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Job Summary
The Apprentice Fuel Technician is responsible for testing, inspecting, and supporting fuel system compliance at retail, commercial, and private fueling facilities. This role performs fuel system integrity testing, documents results accurately, and communicates findings and corrective actions clearly to internal teams and customers. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work and regular travel.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform fuel containment, equipment integrity, and leak-detection testing
* Identify leaks and compliance issues to prevent environmental or equipment failures
* Complete petroleum support work orders accurately and efficiently
* Document test results using basic calibration tools
* Communicate findings and corrective procedures clearly to company partners and customers
* Travel approximately two weeks per month (home on weekends; hotel and per diem provided)
* Comply with safety, DOT, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
* Mechanical aptitude; experience with hand tools preferred
* Background in trades or industrial/commercial environments is a plus
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
* Comfortable using basic technology for reporting and documentation
* Physically able to lift 10-50 lbs and perform tasks such as kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing
* Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
