-2+ years working as a carpenter or helper within commercial construction

-Ability to use a tape measure

-Ability to use power and hand tools

-Ability to lift 50 LBs

-Valid Driver's license to get from site to site

Pay: $16-$25

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM (Report to Site each morning)

Specific responsibilities:

-Installing walls, floors, ceilings, and finishes using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, plastics, and composites of multiple materials

-Fitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenters level, plumb bob, and laser levels

-Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws

-Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment

-Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools

-Assembling and fastening materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue

-Removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools

This includes working with a team to perform window and door remodeling as well as other residential carpentry work. Our carpenters work only in the East Bay and have the opportunity to produce high-quality results . If you like getting out of the daily routine , this is the job for you!

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• 1-2 years of experience in the building trades
• Your own hand tools and tool belt
• Have a valid California Driver's License and own transportation to/from jobs
• Possess a great attitude, have pride in your workmanship, be willing to learn
• Be safety-minded in all that you do
• Possess excellent customer service skills and respect the customers property
• Motivation to learn
• Be able to follow instructions with a great attitude
