The Bindery Apprenticeship Program is a structured, hands-on training initiative designed to prepare individuals for a professional career in the commercial printing and finishing industry. Apprentices gain real-world experience while learning essential technical skills in folding, stitching, trimming, and binding.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Minimum age: 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Willingness to work in a team and take direction
Commitment to completing a multi-month apprenticeship program
Program Structure
Duration: 4-year structured training
Format: 60% on-the-job training, 40% classroom/lab-based instruction

Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting system components to resolve electrical issues
Ensure work performed is of good craftsmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes

Identifies gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provides recommendations to higher level technical staff and management
Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
Ensure job sites are left clean

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education & Certifications:
Must possess or obtain an Apprentice License within state of employment if applicable
Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience preferred
High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines
Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade
Ability to read and interpret single line drawings
Must maintain a clean driving record and valid state driver's license

Excellent conditions for year-round work. Work in all types of weather and during storm conditions, may be asked to work a minimum of 24 hours straight without a sleep break.
Will be required to respond to an approved percentage of after-hours outage calls.

Responsibilities of a Diesel Service Apprentice entail:
Shadow and assist experienced diesel technicians, learning fundamental repair and maintenance techniques.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and component replacements under supervision.
Perform pre-delivery inspections on vehicles or equipment to ensure readiness.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper tool care and safety procedures.
Participate in training programs and workshops to develop knowledge of diesel systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Assist with recordkeeping and documentation of work performed.

Requirements
The requirements to be a Diesel Service Apprentice for CIT Trucks, LLC include:
Must be at least 18 years old
High School diploma or GED required
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card
Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 120 pounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
Maintain professional appearance and attitude
Willingness and ability to complete training in a timely manner
