Job Responsibilities Spot Heavy Equipment: Assists with spotting Rock Drills and other large equipment to support safe and efficient maneuvering within the job site. Drill Hole Backfilling: Uses support equipment, such as skid steers, to safely and effectively backfill completed drill holes. Field QA/QC Checks: Performs quality and safety inspections during drilling operations under supervision, reporting any issues or deviations from standard procedures. Surveying & Layout Support: Use GPS and rover systems to assist in site layout, stake placement, and verification of drill locations. General Site Labor: Executes essential labor tasks including staging materials, site preparation, and marker setup, and daily cleanup. Equipment Support: Helps maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring everything is clean, operational, and stored correctly. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Drill Operators and Site Leads to ensure smooth daily operations. Supports other tasks and responsibilities as required to ensure smooth operations. Compensation Wage Range: $20- $24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Zone Differential Pay: Most solar projects include an additional $5.00 per hour in zone differential pay for work requiring extra commitment due to location, duration, or scope. Job Requirements | Qualifications Construction Experience: Previous experience in construction is preferred, particularly in utility-scale or solar-related projects. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification: Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification is strongly preferred. If not already obtained, the company will work with the employee to complete the certification prior to the start date. Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs. Must demonstrate a voluntary willingness to work well with others and subordinate to peer coaching and mentoring relationships. The purpose of the Low Voltage Specialties Apprentice is to assist in the installation of low voltage systems. Including, but not limited to, security, access control and audio/video systems. * Assist Low Voltage Manager and or project lead with installation of conduit, low voltage wiring, control panels, and other low voltage system equipment. * Keep tools available and in serviceable working condition on job site. * Assist in cleaning job site, tools, and equipment. * Carry equipment, such as ladders, tools and replacement parts from vehicle or laydown area to required location. * Learn and develop working knowledge of various low voltage systems installation under various teaching practices. * Study for and obtain various low voltage certifications as required by manufacturer, state, and local jurisdictions. * Understand and follow SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. The Apprentice Lineman will also support and learn from the Lineman team(s) and partner with other personnel from the company. Role and Responsibilities Provide technical skills needed for the operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services for the consumer, completing jobs with quality and timeliness. Provide for connecting and disconnecting, installing and removal, moving and transferring of various electrical devices on customer facilities, such as transformers, transformer banks, regulators, switches, switching devices, capacitor banks, etc. Responsible for routing or rerouting power lines over, under, and/or around existing lines and structures. Inspect and/or remove power lines that are damaged. Assist in carrying poles, digging holes, and other operations as needed in setting or replacing poles. Perform line switching or sectionalizing, as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Must have a valid Class A CDL within three (3) months of employment. Must have 2 Years of Bucket Work Experience. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Adhere to company safety and health policies - Techline will provide on-the-job safety training.
