Job Overview The Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Plan and layout work from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal and written instructions. Identify and document any field alterations, as needed. Plan, organize work, and meet all deadlines. Coordinate with other trade and warehouse personnel in the identification of proper and correct materials, parts assemblies and requirements for a variety of requisitions necessary for the job/task. Submit requests and participate in outages. Respond to emergency site maintenance. Perform on call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary. Participate in periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items. Facilitate third party vendors related to electrical tasks.
