What You Will Do:
Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility
Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance
Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva's safety procedures in everyday work routine
Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware

Education:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent

Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes
Use and operate a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including ohmmeters, voltmeters, and ammeters.
Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors

Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications
Fasten metal or plastic boxes to walls to electrical switches or outlets
Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles
Draw, interpret, and read graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
Perform heavy manual labor requiring manual dexterity under varying weather conditions
Perform physical inventory of materials
Comply with company, customer, and OSHA safety requirements
Observe, compare, or monitor data to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards
Participate in company-related safety/medical tests (e.g. background & drug screenings, physicals, hearing tests, etc.)

Job Specifications
Possess a current State of Iowa journeyman or master electrical license
Must have at least 4 years of experience with commercial and industrial projects
Possess basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills acquired through high school diploma or GED
Know the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the Electricians trade
Knowledge and compliance with the occupational hazards and OSHA requirements of the Electricians trade and necessary safety precautions
