We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Key Functions: Performs highly skilled electrical maintenance tasks including installation and repair of electrical machinery and instrumentation of controls throughout the plant. Installation of electrical equipment, motors, starters, variable frequency drives and PLCs in accordance with applicable electrical codes. Repair of electrical tools and equipment including power tools and test equipment. Performs preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting on AC and DC motors, drives, and control systems. PM as required on other electro-mechanical components (brakes, clutches, solenoids, etc.). Calibrate instruments, sensors, chart recorders, etc. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software associated with all distributed discrete microprocessor-based systems within the plant. Follow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to plant safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications: All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Prefer five (5) years of electrical maintenance work experience and/or educational history. Full knowledge of electrical codes. Must be proficient in the programming, installation, and troubleshooting of all PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers). Experienced in all phases of plant electrical equipment repair. Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, 3-Phase 480 Volt AC motors and starters, 24 Volt DC and 120 Volt AC control circuits. Knowledge of closed loop process control systems. Must have Microsoft Office skills. Resume detailing education and work history. Steady, documented work history. Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Good communication skills. Must be team oriented. Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. Willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
