The E&I Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems including distributed control systems (DCS), high voltage rectifiers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors and motor control systems including variable frequency drives (VFDs), field process measurement devices (control valves, pH & ORP probes, temperature elements, pressure elements, level gauges, etc.). Ordering and control of repair materials. Attend formal classes that support the Journeyman program. Log all necessary hours supporting training and other required documentation. The Person: High School Diploma required. Diploma from a vocational institution in Engineering, Math, Science, Electrical and Instrumentation preferred. Regular attendance and skills advancement requirements from technical college and state journeyman program for eligibility in program and hold a position in the maintenance department.
