    OCTOPI - Maintenance Electrician Available Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm or Monday-Friday 6am-2pm Primary Responsibilities: · Conduct work safely per company policy including GMP and SQF standards; help coach/mentor coworkers in electrical safety. · Help the maintenance team to improve uptime of production equipment and processes by identifying process & equipment efficiency / cost savings opportunities. · Own small/midsized facility electrical projects and assist in the electrical installation & maintenance of production equipment. · Provide necessary electrical expertise as required. · Participate in the planning and technical development of projects. · Help to develop, verify, update and ensure compliance of Lock Out Tag Out procedures. · Inspect production equipment and facility electrical systems and develop corrective actions. · Provide rapid respond to electrical safety concerns/incidents. · Plan and execute preventative maintenance tasks. · Select, order, and purchase materials (with manager's approval) for projects. · Work closely with other maintenance techs, production teams, and leadership to prioritize and execute necessary work. · Help to organize and participate in training sessions: Safety, NFPA 70E, Forklift safety, SQF, etc. · Maintain records of completed work. · Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements. · Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment. · Performs other related duties as assigned.
