The electrician performs installation of electrical and systems construction elements of C3M projects. This role is primarily a Washington DC position, however traveling and interacting with multiple project teams across various locations throughout the U.S. is also available. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical installations on Transportation and/or Industrial Construction projects + Provide input and coordinate with other trades on each project + Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations and tasks + Ensure code compliance by inspecting and testing electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or needed repairs + Maintain positive personal contact and relationships with management, staff, craft and the local unions + Ensures that all activities are consistent with project plans, policies and procedures + Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems. + Prepares work area for installation of equipment. + Installs electrical components. + Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification. + Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate.
