These may include but are not limited to National Electrical Code, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Uniform Building Code (UBC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70, National Electric Code, NFPA 70B Electrical Maintenance, NFPA 70E Arc Flash Electrical Safety, NFPA 79 Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery and local government environmental agency policies. • Understands and uses code for troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo controllers, etc. • Practices and complies with all plant and maintenance department safety procedures, including but not limited to: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Lock-Out - Tag-Out; Arc Flash, Hot Work Permits, and Confined Space Permits. • Completes calibration and set-up of instrumentation devices and transmitters by using provided work instructions. • Performs troubleshooting and completes repairs necessary to single phase and 3 phase power electrical and controls systems. • Performs basic functions such as running conduit and piping to specifications, pulling wire, and completing terminations. • May perform maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. • Periodically performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations. • Follows all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) for area assigned. • Maintains and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA, food handling before and after equipment inspection and repair activities. • Attends classes, seminars, and in-house training as needed to maintain skill level with changes in the industry. • Makes improvements and suggestions to optimize maintenance program. • Executes and document planned and unplanned work findings and data during shift via SAP. Execution and resolution of equipment breakdowns/repairs. • Leverages methodologies including, but not limited to root cause analysis (RCA), break down failure analysis (BDA) and cause maps to identify and resolve equipment issues. • Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to identify failures and takes correct follow-up actions. Predictive maintenance technologies include ultrasound, thermal imaging, Electrical and current analysis. • Documents the cause of the failure and works with maintenance team, planner, supervisor, or other team members to take action to prevent a reoccurrence of the failure. • Understands and interprets technical documents and diagrams which include but are not limited to factory manuals, blueprints, schematics, Single Line Electrical Drawings, mechanical and electrical equipment schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), etc. • Applies industry knowledge to identify aging and obsolete automation hardware. • May perform other duties as required. • Mandatory overtime may be required. Requirements: Work requires, in addition to the knowledge acquired through a general high school education, a comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code demonstrated by possession of a MD Electrical Journeyman license, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams to calculate power loads - acquired in high school or by a relatively brief period (more than six months but less than one year) of intensive preparation outside of school. Work requires a comprehensive level of electrical theory, knowledge of installation, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical wiring and equipment, computerized energy management systems - acquired through two to four years of progressively more responsible electrical experience in a commercial or institutional facility. A general knowledge of mechanical equipment and the proper use of various power tools. Work requires interpersonal skills sufficient to occasionally exchange information with Hospital staff and patients concerning electrical work required. Work requires performing electrical repairs or installations very frequently requires sustained periods of concentration and attention to detail. Work requires walking to complete errands throughout the building and grounds and performing activities such as reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, talking, and moderate hearing. Requires mid-range vision, depth perception, and field of vision. Must possess a current, valid Maryland Driver's License that has 2 or fewer points on it at time of hire. Serves as Quality & Regulatory Compliance (QRC) representative for client Owned facilities and client's Salty co-manufacturing/co-packaging facilities. Under guidance and supervision, leads quality programs and complex assignments. Serves as a resource for multiple facilities with respect to Global Food Safety Standards, food safety regulations, weight control, sanitary design, allergens, cleaning, incident management and other related matters. Examples include auditing and assessing quality programs, troubleshooting issues of high complexity; interaction with regulatory officials on behalf of client; working on cross functional teams (Marketing, Legal, etc.) on short or long-term assignments with respect to complex QRC situations (i.e. innovation, regulatory changes, quality incidents, etc.). **Main Duties:** + Under guidance and supervision this representative will work with external manufacturers and copackers to supervise the operation, evaluate product, escalate issues and solve problems, be part of innovation trials. + The representative will Audit Distribution Centers in the US and will elaborate a GAP corrective action plan with the DC. + Will work directly with Private Label customers, following complaints, escalating incidents, working with the facilities to understood and solve problems. + If the program gets extended for extra 3 months, this person will cover a paternity leave + The representative will cover a paternity leave for Quality Coordinator on our Bethlehem plant. **Typical Day:** + **Operation supervision** : Go to facility evaluate 24 hours production paper work ,evaluate product during the day, verify parameters and escalate any deviation to assure correction is done. + **DC Audit** : Travel to Places, Perform the Audit, when back home elaborate the report and show to manager. Elaborate gap analysis and work with the DC to close gaps. + **Extended Program** : The representative will cover the activities of the QA Coordinator in Bethlehem. **Top Three Technical Skills:** + Quality & Food Safety Technician experience in a food facility + HACCP knowledge + Audit Experience **Must Haves (i.e., years of experience?) 3-5 years of experience.** + Software Skills and Purpose (if applicable): Office + Industry Experience: Food Manufacturing. + What do you foresee as being the biggest challenge in this position?
