Responsible for the completion of all PM and record keeping assigned to his/her areas of responsibility. Submit as required electrician's reports for all work done. Make recommendations to his/her supervisor as necessary on the performance of all equipment. Respond to emergencies at any time. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Demonstrate basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures. Qualifications: HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Trades (Electrical). Must have a Journeyman's license or have successfully completed a four-year apprenticeship program Five or more years' experience working in Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing environment. Proven in-depth knowledge of related building codes, regulations and ordinances. Proven ability to effectively read, interpret and work from plans, schematics and drawings. Prior experience in project estimation of electrical labor, materials and equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and good customer service skills. The work schedule is five (5) eight (8) hour days Monday through Friday. Candidate must demonstrate safe working practices, can climb and be able to work from heights and in confined and enclosed spaces. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Safely install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components within the manufacturing plant. * Maintain, test and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems. * Develop skill set to troubleshoot advanced control system and instrumentation equipment including PLC controls. * Interpret and use wiring schematics. * Operate electrical test equipment inherent to the job. * Know and understand NEC codes, become trained in NFPA-70E, and practice all other electrician duties in a manufacturing environment Qualifications & Requirements: * Must have the desired technical skills to safely and proficiently work as an electrician in a plant setting. * Possess basic mechanical maintenance skills. * Ability to interpret and perform tasks as detailed on printed work orders. * Basic computer skills needed to complete safety training and review work-related email. * Ability to operate equipment as needed, including forklifts, etc. * Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them. * Good collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team.
