Salary Starting Rate ($40.46) Principal duties and responsibilities: * The Maintenance Electrician reports to the Maintenance Manager. * Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits. * Support the daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications: * Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications. * Can troubleshoot and repair basic electrical component issues, i.e., replace ballasts, fuses, circuit breakers, etc. * Working knowledge of PLCs and automation. * Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment. * The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment. * Must provide their own tools. * Follow established programs, policies and practices that meet regulatory and company requirements. * Maintain communication with other departments, management and associates and notify them of any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production work. Environment/Physical Demands: * Will be required to stand, bend, kneel, squat frequently. * Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed. * Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed. * Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
