Function as an Apprentice Electrician, under a certified or licensed Electrician for Bergelectric Corp. assist electricians with installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all Bergelectric Corp. policies and procedures. Repairs electrical saws, vacuums, and other electrical tools as needed. Ensures companies electrical meets National Electric Code compliance. Parker Host acquired United Bulk Terminals (UBT) on Mile 55 of the Mississippi River as one of the largest bulk terminals in the U.S. Gulf, specializing in coal and petcoke. This 1,200 acre property in Davant, Louisiana is capable of extensive loading, discharging and storage - with deep-water docks, fleeting capacity for 500 barges and over 40 pieces of heavy equipment to handle cargo loads. Position Summary: Install, maintain, diagnose and repair equipment/instrumentation related to the unloading, loading, transfer and storage of cargo including conveying equipment, AC and DC motors, PLCs and IO modules, VFDs and DC Drives, associated wiring and power supplies on ship loaders, stacker/reclaimers, continuous barge unloaders, bucket cranes and various support equipment.
