The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and capability to repair and maintain existing electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, wiring and controls as well as the ability to install or modify electrical systems, controls and components. Responsibilities: Job Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Repair, install and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems, controls, lighting fixtures, kitchen equipment, heating systems, power stations, vehicles and ride equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical apparatus. Install or modify electrical systems and components. Update drawings and schematic diagrams and assist in the selection of electrical components and material. Assist with Park Operation responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following: High School Diploma or GED with a Trade School certification or currently in a trade program. Work from schematic wiring diagrams. Use testing instruments related to electrical work. Must be familiar with current electrical codes. Must provide hand tools for daily use. This facility specializes in the production of Cat Electric Rope Shovels (ERS) used in mining operations around the world. Key Responsibilities Plan, layout, and install electrical components and systems using schematics and engineering drawings Use hand and power tools, bending/threading machines, and cranes to position and install wiring and equipment Measure, cut, and run wire and conduit; connect pre-wired components and complete circuits Strip, splice, solder, and connect terminals, lugs, and hardware Perform functional and diagnostic tests using voltmeters, watt meters, phase sequence meters, tachometers, and stroboscopes Troubleshoot and adjust electrical systems to meet specifications Lead and support others in installing and testing rotating, relay, and electronic circuits Required Qualifications Experience with electrical tools: drills, pliers, wire strippers, soldering equipment, cranes, etc. Familiarity with electrical components: conduits, wires, cables, fittings, grease, oil, and hardware Ability to read and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, and blueprints Working knowledge of high, medium, and low-pressure hydraulic and automated lube systems 3-5 years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to work to close tolerances Ability to work independently and in a team environment Commitment to safety and quality standards Willingness to work overtime to meet production demands Additional Info Full-time, 40 hours/week No relocation assistance Pre-employment drug screen and medical evaluation required Please check your email (including spam/junk folders) for updates Apply Today Join a company that values your skills, supports your growth, and rewards your hard work.
