Overview The Electrical Technician I is responsible for installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the residential, commercial and industrial electrical industry. Must have ability & knowledge to properly give "hand signals" to operators. Knowledge of series circuits, Ohms's Law, DC Circuits and resistance and its effect. Ability to add, subtract, divide and use electrical formulas accurately. Knowledge of blueprints/shop drawings, including symbol use. Knowledge of use of degrees in bending conduit (i.e. concentric bending.). Knowledge of switching procedures. Knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements.
