This is a Non-Exempt position in support of the Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) of facilities at the Kesselring Naval Training Facility. This project is a joint venture as we partner with BWXT to form BWSR LLC serving as a government sub-contractor. Candidates should have a New York State Certified Electrician's license or equivalent and experience and knowledge of standard construction activities and methods using hand and power tools. Workers receive specific training in radiological controls, hazardous materials, and asbestos abatement and are expected to maintain their knowledge levels. Candidates should be prepared to execute duties of an Electrician as well as a Contamination Worker in the field. This project is a joint venture as we partner with BWXT to form BWSR LLC serving as a government sub-contractor. Candidates should have a New York State Certified Electrician's license or equivalent and experience and knowledge of standard construction activities and methods using hand and power tools. Workers receive specific training in radiological controls, hazardous materials, and asbestos abatement and are expected to maintain their knowledge levels.
