Job Summary:
The Electrician Apprentice (Mid-Level / Partially Completed Apprenticeship) role is for a motivated electrician apprentice who is partway through their apprenticeship and is looking to join our team. This individual will continue to develop their electrical wiring and installation techniques while working on modular homes at Mytikas Steel's production facility. The Apprentice will install outlets, fixtures, and wiring systems, follow electrical codes, and adhere to safety protocols. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed a portion of their apprenticeship training, have gained hands-on experience, and are looking for the right company to continue and finish their apprenticeship. Our goal following completion of the apprenticeship is that this individual will be promoted to crew lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Use current electrical techniques to work with unique systems.
Lead in the installation of outlets, light fixtures, and wiring systems in modular homes.
Follow electrical codes (e.g., National Electrical Code [NEC]) and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support the preparation and organization of materials for electrical installations.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of electrical tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace to support efficient production.
Collaborate with team members to learn electrical processes and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in electrical systems is a requirement.
Experience: Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program (approximately 2nd or 3rd year preferred with demonstrated on-the-job electrical experience)
Technical Skills:
Understanding of electrical wiring, installation techniques, and code requirements.
Understanding of electrical tools and equipment, or readiness to learn maintenance procedures.
Soft Skills:
Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of electrical principles, materials, and safety standards for systems above 600 volts
General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electronic control circuitry

REQUIREMENTS:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent is required with a degree in related field is preferred, including four years of apprenticeship training or three years of apprenticeship training with two year degree from technical college.
+ This position also requires five years total experience with one year as a Foreman 1. A Journeyman Wireman's license from the State of Colorado, or appropriate state, along with Denver Fire Alarm Journeyman License within 90 days of accepting the position (Applicable only if on the front range) is required.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills are also required with the completion of Leadership Level I Leadership (Supervision) being preferred.
