The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing electrical work, ensuring compliance with Texas regulations, supervising electricians and apprentices as needed, and coordinating with project managers to deliver safe, high-quality installations on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades on residential and commercial projects
Ensure all electrical work complies with Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) requirements, NEC standards, and local codes
Supervise, train, and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices
Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades
Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions
Pull permits and schedule inspections as required
Maintain jobsite safety standards and enforce company safety policies

Required Qualifications
Active Texas Master Electrician License
Minimum 5-7 years of electrical experience (master-level preferred)
Strong knowledge of NEC, Texas electrical codes, and local inspection processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience working in a general contractor or construction environment
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable vehicle (truck, van, SUV) + necessary tools
Ability to navigate a mobile portal/app for job management - work is received and closed through online portal.
Strong professionalism, punctuality, and communication skills.

We are currently seeking knowledgeable and experienced Electrician Instructors to join our faculty. In this role, you will provide high-quality instruction, develop engaging lesson plans, and guide students as they build the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in the electrical field.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver comprehensive, hands-on lesson plans aligned with the electrical curriculum and learning objectives.
Teach theory and practical skills in areas including electrical theory, wiring, circuits, panel installation, troubleshooting, motors, safety procedures, and code compliance.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Demonstrate industry-standard techniques and ensure proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
Provide hands-on supervision and mentorship during lab and shop activities.
Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical assessments, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
Stay current with industry standards, technological advancements, and certification requirements in the electrical field.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe instructional environment.
Mentor students and model professional behavior, ethics, and work habits.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff on curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Electrical certification or licensure required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on professional electrical experience ideally with applicable certifications.
Knowledge in key industrial concepts including, but not limited to, AC/DC circuits, electrical safety and testing, environmental principles, residential, commercial, and industrial electrical applications, wiring methods, lighting systems, national electrical codes, programmable logic controllers, and motor controls and relay logic.
Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm for mentoring students and helping them reach their goals.
Proficient in using instructional technology and multimedia teaching tools.
Organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a classroom/lab setting.
Dedication to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
