What You'll Do Day-To-Day Responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining a wide range of electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. What You'll Bring Install and maintain all types of conduit, wiring, and power distribution equipment for plant operations and machinery. Install and service telephone and data communication lines as needed. Perform installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and production equipment. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards. Utilize standard tools and test equipment associated with the electrical trade. Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and written procedures. Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations. Collaborate with vendors and the Purchasing department to obtain necessary materials and supplies. Program and maintain building automation systems as required. Lead electrical or HVAC projects, providing direction to lower-level electricians. Supervise subcontractors on assigned projects when necessary. Actively contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all applicable safety and health regulations.
