Job Title: Apprentice Electrician Pay Rate: $22-$25 per hour (DOE) Hours: 40-50 hours per week We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to support licensed electricians on commercial and industrial projects in the Rochester, NY area. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on electrical experience while working under experienced electricians and foremen. Through hands-on training and classroom education, you will become a well-rounded and highly capable electrical professional. GreenSpark will bear the bulk of the educational costs. Some classroom fees and materials may apply. Any penalties associated with failure to attend classes will remain the responsibility of the apprentice and not GreenSpark solar. In order to meet apprenticeship and licensing requirements, participants are also required to commit to 180 hours of unpaid schooling per year for five years. Previous qualifying experience and education will be evaluated through the DOL to reduce the required program length. By the end of your apprenticeship, you should have mastered the fundamental skills of installing, repairing, testing, adjusting, and maintaining electrical equipment.
