Responsible for performing work related to the construction and maintain of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities and equipment for the transmission and distribution of electricity. This position supports and learns from the Lineman team and works with other personnel from the department. This position is based in Canton and it serves all of the neighboring communities. Responsibilities Provide assistance for all general electrical in-home, service calls. Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to help win new referrals and repeat business. Work with customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. Help maintain a clean, organized job site and service truck. Learn from our experienced Field Technicians in order to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. Learn to provide accurate and timely estimates and invoices. Requirements Basic knowledge of local electrical codes. Minimum of two years experience in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units preferred. Ability to trace lines and read wiring diagrams. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Strong verbal and written communications. Passionate about our industry.
