We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Journey Electrician LMPJ / Journey Electrician/Millwright LMPJ at our Lebanon, Oregon operation.
Key Functions:
Manage the electrical systems in the operation.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot all electrical systems in the operation.
Effectively maintain communications with maintenance personnel and supervisors to safely and efficiently perform mill maintenance duties (reactive and preventive).
May also assist with basic mechanical maintenance functions as needed.
Weyerhaeuser provides an excellent total compensation and benefits package. Pay rate ranges from $36.83 (Dual Craft Journey Level LMPJ) to $39.89 (Dual Craft Master Maintenance LMPJ).
Must be able to acquire licensing in the state of Oregon within six months of hire date. Licensing fees paid by Weyerhaeuser. Oregon only recognizes licenses in the following states: Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Utah, Wyoming
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must have minimum 1 year electrical experience in a manufacturing plant.
Currently hold or able to obtain State of Oregon Electrical license (LMPJ) within 6 months
Minimum 2 years millwright experience
Ability to program, repair, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control units (PLCs) and Optimization Control Systems in the operation
Ability to troubleshoot 480v and low voltage electrical systems, AC and DC
Ability to troubleshoot, set up, and program variable speed drives
Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints and schematics
Must demonstrate logical problem solving skills and react appropriately in upset situations
Excellent computer skills and fluent with standard Microsoft office products
Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities
Able to work with computerized maintenance system for processes, stores, work orders, etc
Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problems solving skills
Dedicated, self-motivated team member, willing and able to work independently and in a team system
Must be willing and able to work shifts, call-ins, holidays, and overtime
The following qualifications are desired:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instrumentation and Electrical Forman is responsible for planning, supervising, performing and coordinating all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. Also responsible for planning the daily activities for crew of workers.
Responsibilities:

Production:
Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints
Assist in lay out of work for crew
Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule
Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers
Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials
Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as:
Daily Reports, Safety Reports, ESRs, Inspection Reports, etc.
Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained, and repairs are done in a timely manner
Support jobsite Superintendent to coordinate activities of individual projects
May perform related trade work as required
Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice

Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, maintain, test and repair electrically powered or controlled electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machines, systems and components. You will also work on equipment which may include PLCs, AC and DC motors and generators, SCR's, VFD's, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution and control circuits, conduits, and fittings.
A successful Journeyman will be a self-starter and be self-motivated. This role is instrumental in providing maintenance, repair, and support to each department so they can meet production goals, objectives and customer expectations. To accomplish this, you'll work collaboratively with Operations and all departments across the plant, to provide expertise on a variety of work orders.
Responsibilities:
Read electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.

Possess good computer skills and knowledge of networking principles in order to communicate with equipment controllers.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instrumentation and Electrical Forman is responsible for planning, supervising, performing and coordinating all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. Also responsible for planning the daily activities for crew of workers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Production:
Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints
Assist in lay out of work for crew
Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule
Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers
Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials
Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as:
Daily Reports, Safety Reports, ESRs, Inspection Reports, etc.
Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained, and repairs are done in a timely manner
Support jobsite Superintendent to coordinate activities of individual projects
May perform related trade work as required
Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice
Implement better methods of production in all aspects of job to strengthen best practices within Wanzek Construction, Inc.

Quality:
Monitor crew installation for quality issues
Monitor work areas to ensure quality work is being completed
Look for ways to improve safety, quality and productivity
Safety:
Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures

SUPERVISORY:

Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical foreman role

Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
