Delta Wye Electric is seeking full time Foreman Industrial Electricians who are looking for long term, stable employment with an established industrial electrical contractor. We are looking for individuals with experience on industrial projects. This position requires the experience to bend pipe, terminate wiring and understand NEC code. Individuals must be eager, have strong work ethics, good communication and a willingness to learn.
We provide continual training, team building and long term work. We are a growing company and with an expanding customer base and have a need for more Foreman level electricians to run work. This position will be involved in the electrical construction of manufacturing and industrial facilities throughout the entire Phoenix region with some ability to travel further. All candidates must be willing to work in those areas. Continual training is provided to help electricians in their understanding and performance. Much of the work is returning to existing sites for upgrades and improvements to facilities and/or equipment.
Duties:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of electrical trainees, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Installation of switchgear.
Installation of rigid conduit and wiring for power and controls wiring.
Determine solutions to problems or installations.
Installation of lighting and devices.
Attend continuing education courses through leading trade school.
Understand and follow rules and regulations in accordance with NEC.
Willing to work daily overtime and weekends.
Qualifications:
Certificate of completion from a recognized electrical trade school.
Certified Journeyman from any state or at least 2 years experience of running work.
Trustworthy, organized, detail oriented, motivated self-starter, able to multi task.
Have good pipe bending experience with precision and speed.
Industrial electrical experience required.
Ability to provide crew leadership and run projects from start to finish independently.
Collaborate with Account Managers and office staff for customer and scheduling needs.
Ability to read and follow engineered blue print drawings.

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY
Perform duties of a professional electrician including installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical equipment, components, and systems according to job specifications and state technical codes under basic supervision.

Responsibilities
Ability to analyze and repair equipment problems involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other power sources.
Ability to analyze basic electrical problems involving PLCs, motion control devices, sensors, and other items.
Assist engineering functions with process improvements and advanced troubleshooting.

Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, drill press, welders, grinders, torches, and general maintenance tool, etc.
Must be able to work and communicate well in a team environment.

Forklift experience is preferred.
Must have experience in electrical, control wiring, drives, and PLC.
Electrical license preferred, but strong electrical background required.
