Plan work to accommodate production schedules/business needs and submit work reports. Maintain records and files and order supplies and equipment as needed. Direct and train helpers/apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations. Some use of measurement, calibration, welding, soldering and cutting tools is required in completing most daily tasks. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition. Attend monthly safety meetings and complete required safety training through web base training and safety training. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY STATEMENTS): Demonstrated knowledge of design techniques, tools, uses, repair, maintenance and the principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
