Excellent mechanical aptitude Good at math with analytical abilities Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy (up to 50lbs) items. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset. Apprentice Electrician (Loveland, CO) Pay: $22-$28 per hour DOE The Electrical Apprentice supports the Journeyman and/or Master Electricians while working towards licensure as an electrician. This involves performing the work as necessary including assembling, installing, testing and inspecting electrical equipment. This position involves identifying safety risks and using the right precautions to eliminate the risks. The right candidate should be comfortable and knowledgeable with hand tools needed for tasks such as installing and modifying cable trays installing and modifying conduit and pulling wire. It is important that this person has color vision, as it is imperative to identify different types, gauges, and color of cables and wires. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required. Some experience in the electrical industry is preferred. Must be able to identify basic safety hazards and know how to avoid them. Experience with running and troubleshooting heat trace is a plus. Experience with general hand tools and power tools. Basic electrical theory knowledge required such as ohms law is a plus. Must be able to perform extremely physical labor such as digging lifting and pulling for extended periods of time.
