Want to get paid to become a piercer at Studs? Apprentices undergo a minimum 6-week paid piercing training program inclusive of classroom style learning, observation, and hands-on training. We are looking for Apprentices to join our training program that will kickoff in January in one of our studio locations. Upon successful completion of the program, graduated Apprentices will become eligible for Part Time Associate Piercer positions at our Washington, D.C. studio.
Hourly Rate:
Graduated apprentices make $24/hour as Associate Piercers, plus tips

Duties and Responsibilities
ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Maintenance Trades Helper for a position located in Springfield, Virginia. ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
National Housing Trust (NHT) has been dedicated to creating and preserving affordable housing for almost 40 years. We build, preserve, and finance affordable housing and use that expertise to inform and advance resident-focused solutions to strengthen the broader affordable housing industry.
NHT owns and operates Washington View Apartments located at 2629 Douglass Road SE. As part of our commitment to residents, NHT is working with Building Bridges Across the River and the Collaboration for Equitable Health to launch a multi-year project to address the social determinants of health East of the River. The project is called ViewStrong.
ViewStrong, power by the Interrupt is excited to bring a community garden to Washington View. The garden will consist of 16 garden beds that will produce fresh vegetables for Washington View residents at no cost.
POSITION
We are seeking a Washington View resident to serve as a Youth Apprentice to tend a new set of garden beds on the Washington View campus. This is seasonal positions that begins April 26th, 2025 and ends October 26th, 2025. The Youth Apprentice will be hired by National Housing Trust and will receive training and instruction from the Farm Team at Building Bridges Across the River. The Youth Apprentice will be mentored by the Lead Gardener. We encourage any Washington View resident between ages 15-20 who has an interest in growing food to apply.
This position is DC-based. Due to the nature of the work, this position offers no remote work options. On average, this position will offer 11 hours of work weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Water the garden beds as frequently as needed, 2-6 times per week depending on rain, an average of five hours per week.
Remove grass and other weeds as they emerge, approximately two hours per week.
Harvest crops as they become mature and bring them to the pantry to wash, weigh and store, approximately two hours weekly.
Work with Building Bridges Across the River staff one hour per week on planting and garden maintenance. We will choose an hour within the work week (Mon - Fri, between 8:00am and 5:00pm) based on the schedule of the two Gardeners. Candidates should have at least one hour weekly within that time frame when both can schedule to work with the Building Bridges Across the River staff.
Candidates must be comfortable with the following:
Carrying a 20-pound garden hose;
Stooping, kneeling and standing for an hour while weeding and harvesting;
Reading a scale and recording harvest weights;
Visiting the garden at least every other day to make sure the soil is moist; and
Taking instruction from staff of Building Bridges Across the River, WC Smith and National Housing Trust, regarding how to conduct the work and store the supplies;
Youth Apprentice should be a student, at least 15 years old.
COMPENSATION
This apprenticeship will be paid $22.50 per hour.

POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE
ABA Centers of VA provides year-round therapeutic intervention for children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorder using the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA). These therapeutic services are provided in clinic, homes, and community settings. Summary: The BCBA is responsible for maintaining a caseload of 6-9 learners, who are receiving insurance-funded or private-pay funded services.
The ABA Apprentice is responsible for assisting an assigned BCBA with unrestricted supervision tasks for a caseload of learners.
POSITIONS' ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are duties and responsibilities that the ABA Apprentice shall provide:
Design, implement, and systematically monitor skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs under the supervision of a BCBA
Assist the BCBA by researching the literature related to 2-3 specific learners' programs
Oversee the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others
Assist the BCBA by conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment, etc.)
Assist the BCBA by writing objectives to be tested for initial assessments and assisting with any other way needed
Analyze and summarize results of assessments and graphs results as needed
Write 6-month progress reports with supervision and guidance by the BCBA
Train and design behavioral systems and performance management for technicians
Conduct naturalistic observations of learners as directed by the BCBA
Provide staff and caregiver training
Meet with the supervising BCBA at least once per week to discuss learner progress and behavior analytic tasks that must be completed for each learner
Facilitate one team meeting for a learner every other week, with supervision and feedback from BCBA
Conduct approximately one learner observation per week by giving feedback and instruction to technicians with supervision and feedback from BCBA
Write monthly goals for learners as directed by the BCBA
Create weekly acquisition sheets and update throughout the week as needed
Test the learners for skill generalization
Assist with the implementation of an assigned learner's behavior deceleration plan as needed
Analyze and graph learner data as directed by the BCBA
Create or update data collection system
Be available to answer questions of technicians working on learners' cases

ABA Apprentice is still required to have between 15 to 20 hours per week of direct RBT service.
Requirements
Education/Experience and Other Requirements:
The ABA Apprentice requires the candidate to be enrolled in graduate-level ABA courses and actively working toward certification as a BCBA
Licensure: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Required)
Education: Currently enrolled in an ABA or equivalent master's program, with only two semesters (32 weeks) remaining until graduation (Required)
Fieldwork Requirement: Completion of at least 1,000 hours of supervised fieldwork in applied behavior analysis (Required)
