Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform construction, maintenance, and repair of transmission power lines under supervision.
* String overhead conductor wire and set poles, anchors, and related structures.
* Assist in troubleshooting transmission system issues.
* Work safely around energized high-voltage systems, following all safety protocols.
* Operate digger derricks, side loaders, buckets, and wire tensioner equipment.
* Climb and work on wood poles, steel towers, and other elevated structures.
* Apply heavy lifting and rigging practices safely and effectively.
* Support bare hand work operations (44kV to 500kV) and work toward certification.
* Follow grounding procedures and understand induced voltage safety practices.
* Properly install, use, and remove PPE and cover-up equipment.
* Perform phasing and use phasing sticks accurately.
* Assist in mechanical jumper installation and removal.
* Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and work orders.
* Conduct and participate in pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
* Inspect and maintain rubber goods, PPE, and tools.
* Perform bucket rescue/escape drills and support crew safety training.
* Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in safe working condition.

Job Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of field experience preferred.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Valid Class A CDL required.

Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License, preferred
Knowledge and skill in the use of hand and electrical tools such as grinders, drill motors and coring machines.
Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical reading and testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment, chain tackles, etc.
Environmental Demands:
Physical Requirements- Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, climb ladders, and walk beams. Must be able to lift and carry tools and materials weighing in excess of 50 pounds and be able to raise and carry with assistance items weighing 200 pounds. Must be able to work from high ladders and scaffolding. Must be able to work safely in close proximity to moving and working equipment. Must be available to work on an on-call basis in cases of emergency.
Work Environment- May work in dusty and dirty places such as elevator shafts, and pits or other mechanical spaces where temperatures may exceed 100 and equipment may be oily and greasy.

Job Responsibilities
As an Auto Technician Apprentice you will help diagnose vehicle malfunctions, recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs. You will also need to help the technician keep their bays in order on a day to day basis.
Other Responsibilities of the Auto Technician Apprentice Role Include
Help examine vehicles to diagnose necessary repairs
Help documenting all work performed clearly and accurately
Attending and successfully completing factory training as required
Keeping informed of factory technical bulletins
Understanding and following federal, state and local regulations
Meeting all requirements of state and federal law for automobile repair
As a Technician Apprentice you must have the ability to comprehend instructions and have the drive to learn new automotive knowledge. Previous experience is not required but you must have a willingness to learn. Ideal candidates are goal-oriented team players who are dedicated to providing quality service and have a drive to succeed.
