The program is Department of Labor certified, combines 2,000 hours of on-the-job training with two classes at Grand Rapids Community College and provides an Extruder Operator Certificate upon completion. What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $33,000 - $41,000 annually. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Technical courses or experience in some of the following: Electrical theory, generators, gas fusion, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and welding.
Basic hand tool and power tool experience
Safety training related to stored energy (electrical/gas/air/mechanical)
Proficient mathematical ability
Ability to work from elevated platforms, ladders, or structures.
Good time management skills
Cognitive thinking
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
Work off a ladder or raised platform.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
