Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Individuals in this classification have minimal experience in the natural gas industry and will attend and successfully complete formal/informal training to be qualified to efficiently and effectively perform the duties and responsibilities listed below:
Turn on and turn off gas services, appliances, and equipment.
Read meters and meter instruments.
Perform the duties of a line locator.
Assist and/or perform the installation, removal, change-out or upgrade of service regulators and meter sets.
Assist and/or perform the start-up of conversion burners.
May assist and perform the installation and maintenance of underground/above ground distribution/transmission mains, services, equipment and meter activity, including minor repairs and adjustments.
Assist and/or perform plastic pipe fusion, tapping, and stopping operations.

YOUR LIFE AS AN APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN
This full-time position typically works 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you are eager to learn and grow your skills! Each day, you go out into the field and assist our experienced electrical technicians. You're always attentive to detail as you watch experienced electricians demonstrate the process of completing various electrical services. You learn how to diagnose, repair, and install systems as well as how to effectively interact with our clients. Additionally, you unload, sort, and restock new shipments of tools and materials so that our warehouse and trucks are always stocked and ready to go. You love learning something new every day on the job!
