BUSINESS UNIT:
This position is a Transmission function within the Asset Management group.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construct, Build and Maintain Overhead Transmission Line Electric Facilities with primary voltages ranging from 69KV-500 KV including but not limited to:
Driving of different sizes and types of trucks
Operation of various pieces of equipment (Entergy owned and rental), including but not limited to Aerial Bucket, Cranes and Digger Derrick Trucks
Perform transmission line hot sticking on energized lines
Read and understand job prints and sketches
Recognize material(s) and their function
Setting and climbing of all sizes of poles
Be available for emergency after hour response and participate in on call duty rotation
Perform transmission line switching
Perform transmission line EPZ grounding
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education:

Apprentice 1st Year Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience required

* CSMs works with peers to manage the day-to-day needs of the clients in the assigned area of responsibility.

Evers Electric has our own Apprenticeship Training School for Apprentice Wiremen and Apprentice Linemen. The programs are recognized and supported by the US Department of Labor and certified by the Arkansas Department of Labor.
Our program takes four years to complete, and we offer classroom and online courses. The courses meet one evening per week for four hours and are taught by some of our top journeymen within the electrical field. Apprentices will be employed and will work while accumulating their class hours. Wage advancement opportunities will occur as class hours and on the job training hours are earned.
Upon completion of 576 class hours and 8,000 work hours over the course of four years, apprentices will take the Arkansas State Electrical Journeyman Exam to become an Arkansas Licensed Journeyman Electrician.

What Drives Success
Lennox AES has immediate positions available for Apprentice Commercial HVAC installers. Apprentices travel nationally and work under the supervision of our Crew Leaders, typically on teams of 4 to 6 members. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacements including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety.
60-70 hour work weeks
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Apprentice applicants must have 1 year experience in the trade working under the direction/supervision of a Journeyman or Master HVAC mechanic
Ability to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles
Apprentice should have knowledge of OSHA construction safety guidelines
Willingness to work overtime hours when required
Ability to work in outdoor elements (roofs) in hot and cold weather conditions
Ability to read and comprehend company policies, procedures and job duties.

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18 - $24/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
