Position Summary
As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. A typical day may include:
• Inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns
• Selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health
• Preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscape
• Operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively
• Working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in protecting and enhancing the natural environment.
The pay range for this role will be $23-$28/hr based on experience.
About You
You are passionate about plants, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the field of plant health care. You bring:
• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass-or related experience (preferred)
• The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
• Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver's license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles

ADVANCEMENT:
Appointee's work performance will be reviewed and rated semi-annually

to the title of Weights and Measures Inspector 1 in State service, or to
the title of Assistant Superintendent of Weights and Measures in local
service, in accordance with New Jersey Civil Service Commission
procedures.
The inability of an employee in the Apprentice title to satisfactorily
complete the training period and/or attain a level of performance
warranting advancement to the title of Weights and Measures
Inspector 1 in State service or the title of Assistant Superintendent
of Weights and Measures in local service, shall be considered cause
for separation from employment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Teach classes on behalf of Deans and teacher-leaders who are observing other teachers;

Minimum Requirements
Requirements: Must have knowledge of the principles and methods used in the treatment and disposal of wastewater and biosolids, as well as understand and comprehend the laws, rules and regulations. Must be knowledgeable in the occupational hazards and the safety precautions to be exercised in the treatment of wastewater and biosolids, as well as demonstrate the ability to learn and retain technical information. Mechanical and/or problem-solving aptitude, as well as computer literacy, is required. Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English sufficiently to perform the functions of the position. Must be able to understand and execute oral and written directions.
Experience: Minimum of one year (1) experience for internal applicants. External applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of related experience, preferably in wastewater treatment.

We are seeking an experienced lineman/electrician to join the QE MV Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of MV distribution equipment including but not limited to MV/LV switchgear, cable, transformers, overhead switches, meter clusters, reclosers, and protection and control systems, including SEL devices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and background in solar/BESS interconnection and associated overhead and underground equipment. This role includes significant travel across the northeast with occasional national travel.
Essential Duties
· Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of medium voltage interconnection systems
· Assist as needed with functional testing and various troubleshooting tasks
· Ensure that all equipment is installed and commissioned in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards
· Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during commissioning
· Maintain accurate records of progress, repairs, and maintenance activities in the field
· Provide technical support to other field personnel during installation and commissioning
· Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, site owners and other stakeholders
· Operate trucks, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and construction equipment
· Maintain tools, vehicles, and materials
Education & Certification Required:
Journeyman lineman/electrician license
Class B CDL required (Class A Preferred) / 1C2A Hydraulic license required
Experience Required:
5+ years of electrical experience with electrical license
Installation and termination of 15/25/35kV overhead and underground equipment
· Familiarity of reclosers, meter clusters, group operated air breaks, etc.
· Understanding of medium voltage grounding
· Experience using test equipment desirable (DC HiPot, VLF, Megger)
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Preferred:
OSHA 30 Certification
Completion of NFPA 70E courses
CPR/First Aid
Confined space training
Functional Knowledge:
Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices; Clear understanding of OSHA safe workplace practices and procedures; Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams as well as other construction/DAS/design drawings or permitting documentation
