Job Summary

Clinical Duties
Observe and learn proper techniques to perform patient care tasks such as;
Assist in preparing patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and providing comfort and reassurance.
Support healthcare providers during patient exams by preparing exam rooms, organizing instruments, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
Perform basic clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, vaccines and assisting with minor procedures under supervision and as ordered by the licensed Independent Provider (LIP).
Supervise venipunctures and/or capillary punctures to draw blood samples for testing (LIP).
Follow proper procedures for labeling, handling, and transporting specimens to ensure accuracy, prevent contamination.
Supervise administration of oral, topical, sublingual, or injectable medications as directed by the licensed Independent Provider (LIP) except intravenous medications.
Clean, dress, and bandage superficial wounds as ordered by the (LIP).
Conduct simple in-house CLIA waived tests, as ordered by the (LIP).
Perform and document regular quality control tests to ensure the accuracy of lab results and the proper functioning of lab equipment.
Practice and maintain aseptic techniques during clinical procedures to prevent infections.
Clean and disinfect exam rooms, equipment, and surfaces following each patient encounter and policy.
Sterilize medical instruments and equipment using autoclaves or other sterilization methods.
Use appropriate PPE (gloves, masks, gowns) to prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
Ensure that biohazardous waste is collected and removed according to organizational procedures.
Provide patients with clear instructions regarding post-visit care, medication use, and follow-up appointments.
Learn to perform clinical procedures such as electrocardiogram (ECG), Ear Lavage, Ear Suction, Suture Removal, Diabetic Retinal Examination (DRE), Tuberculosis Skin Test and Reading, Vision Exam with Snellen chart and/or digital camera as ordered by the (LIP).
Demonstrate age-specific competencies to provide safe, effective, and personalized care. Can understand and address the physical, emotional, developmental, and social needs of each age group to ensures high-quality care:

Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, handling, and managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claims processing under the guidance of experienced staff.

Job Summary:
Piper Fire Protection's Sarasota, FL branch is seeking motivated Fire Sprinkler Apprentices to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation and modification of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
All apprentices will enroll in the Fire Sprinkler Apprentice Program, which includes attending ABC apprentice school approximately two evenings per week during the academic year (about 3 hours per session). Piper Fire will cover tuition and related expenses. Successful participation requires meeting attendance and academic standards as outlined by the program. Wage increases will occur at designated intervals throughout the apprenticeship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with installation and modification of fire sprinkler systems under supervision
Develop knowledge of fire sprinklers, fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes
Follow verbal and written instructions and provide accurate documentation of work performed
Demonstrate professional communication and customer service skills
Operate hand and power tools common to the trade
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to company safety policies

Are you a hands-on learner who's ready to build a career-not just take another job? Join our high-performing installation team as a Field Tech Helper-the right-hand support to our expert Technicians, who bring 3 Day Blinds' premium window coverings to life in homes every day.
As a Helper, you'll work side-by-side with seasoned pros, gaining real-world installation experience while helping to keep projects running smoothly and safely. You'll lend a hand in our warehouse prepping materials, processing returns, and maintaining efficiency behind the scenes.
What You'll Do
Assist Technicians in the field with installations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality
Load, unload, and organize products and tools for daily routes
Support warehouse operations, including processing returned goods and recycling inventory
Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized
Communicate clearly with Technicians, warehouse staff, and service teams to keep jobs running on time
Take initiative, stay positive, and pitch in wherever you're needed
What You Bring
A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn a skilled trade
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, “let's get it done” attitude-even under pressure
Attention to detail and pride in a job done right
