Function as an Apprentice Electrician, under a certified or licensed Electrician for Bergelectric Corp. assist electricians with installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all Bergelectric Corp. policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential project locations.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, maintenance and testing of commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems in full support of Bergelectric Corp. safety, operations and productivity initiatives.
Use industry related hand tools and power tools, under supervision.
Assist the Electrician with measuring, cutting, bending, threading and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
Assist the Electrician with wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
Work with an Electrician to splice and terminate wires at junction points.
Clean, gather and transport materials to electricians on the construction site.
Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members.
Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all Bergelectric Corp. productivity objectives are met.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.
Adhere to all Bergelectric Corp.'s safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled or working on enrollment in an approved Apprentice program.
Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits, and specialty systems.
Knowledge of magnetic induction, three-phase transformers, conductors and wiring methods.
The ability to read and understand electrical single line blueprints.
Familiar with aspects of operation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use them.
Physical Demands
Lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.
Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling.
Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs. tool belt.

Here's the deal:
Installers can earn $125,000+ annually, based on performance.
Everyone starts with our 4-6 week training program, where you'll learn the Shugarman's Way, get hands-on experience, and earn hourly as an apprentice.
Once you finish training, you'll step into the full installer role and see your income skyrocket.

Our Services: Wet Area Remodeling (Showers, Tubs & Walk-in Tubs)
Our Service Area: San Diego, CA, and surrounding areas.
What You'll Do:
As a Bathroom Installer, you'll handle a variety of tasks to transform bathrooms from start to finish:
Job site preparation, including supply runs, preparing tools and materials, and setting up dust control and floor protection
Demolition of existing wet area
Haul debris and ensure proper disposal
Execute wet area remodel, including, but not limited to building walls, set shower pans/tubs, install glass, cut panels and install them to walls, etc)
Perform carpentry work, including framing and other relevant tasks
Perform plumbing work, ensuring functionality and compliance with plumbing codes
Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish in all installations
Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that installations meet company and client expectations
Address any issues and deficiencies promptly with the Production Manager
Interact with clients professionally and address any questions or concerns they may have
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment
Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.
Ensure all projects are completed within set timelines without compromising on quality, professionalism, or safety.
What We're Looking For
Experience/Skills: To be considered for the role of Bathroom Installer, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven Experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, Framing, Light Electrical, and Handyman Skills.
Proven experience as a Bathroom Installer or similar role
Professional experience in executing Drywall Patches
Proficiency in Soldering techniques and knowledge of P-Traps.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Great attendance and positive attitude
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and proof of auto insurance
Must have a full-size truck or van
Installers are expected to own and maintain a set of personal hand tools for use on Company construction projects
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands and Abilities:
Regularly lift and/or move objects from 10-80 lbs at a constant pace.
Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Able to bend, lift, push, pull and reach for up to 8 hours at a time.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
The successful candidate will be subject to our pre-employment background screening process, including, but not limited to criminal background check, drug screening, and driving record check
Compensation & Benefits:
Apprentice (Training Phase):
$24 - $27 per hour, based on experience.
Duration: 4-6 weeks of employment.
Installer (Post-Training):
$27.50 per hour, plus bonus
Installers make $125K + per year
Benefits
8 paid holidays per year.
40 hrs sick time per year.
Weekends off
Weekly stipend to cover gas and tools
Access to company insurance plans; purchase health, dental and vision in with pre-tax dollars and at a lower rate.
Medical: The Company will contribute 50% of the cost of the lowest plan. These plans are offered through Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser, and Mediexel.

Job Summary
In this position, the apprentice/helper will assist the technician as needed with installation, maintenance, inspections, and light repair. This is an entry level position. The primary goal of this role is to learn all aspects of the trade. Our company offers on-the-job training and yearly wage increases as your skills develop. Starting pay is determined upon skills and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist the technician with light repair and installation work.
Observe and learn all aspects of the trade.
Wear floor savers while in the clients home and maintaining a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
Be accurate and timely with all paperwork.
Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.

Candidates must be enrolled in, or have recently completed, an HVAC/CAMT program or have equivalent residential maintenance experience
