As a Fusion Technician with APTIM, you will be required to operate off road truck skid loader, man lift and extend a boom forklift fusion machines for installation of HDPE piping at the project sites. As a Fuse Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring proper pipe fusing operations while adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Operate and maintain fusion equipment to fuse pipes.
Perform pipe preparation, welding, and joining tasks in compliance with processes and specifications.
Inspect and verify fused joints to ensure integrity, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations on-site and meet project deadlines.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards while working in hazardous or confined environments.
Document fusion activities, including measurements, quality checks, and other project-related records.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of fusion equipment to ensure optimal performance by repairing or replace defective parts of machinery, such as rotary drill rigs, water trucks, air compressors, and pumps using hand tools.
Operate off road trucks on side slopes.
Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
Install well heads and valves.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficiently operates fusion machine and keeps accurate records of fuses and air tests.
Have a knowledge of safely operating assigned equipment.
Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment.
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

APTIM is seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist, but will consider an entry level candidate, in the Atlanta, GA area, on a full-time basis, in primary support of our stormwater compliance program. There will also be opportunities to participate in a variety of other environmental compliance support tasks, including but not limited to, solid waste, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, aboveground storage tanks, spill prevention, DOT and RCRA compliance, site assessment and remediation, and/or environmental data management. The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting an environmental team. This position will require travel to client facilities to conduct stormwater inspection/sampling activities, environmental compliance reviews and/or gather related data.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Collecting environmental samples in the field and preparing and preserving samples for delivery to an analytical laboratory.
Calibrating and using technical instruments.
Gain familiarity with site specific requirements through review of permit and planning documents, including the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) or State-Specific General Permit, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan, and any other applicable plans that have been prepared for the site.
Demonstrate ability to efficiently plan, organize and schedule field activities within required frequencies and timeframes including adherence to required communication with client to obtain approval for site access. This includes performing compliance activities at multiple sites on the same day and monitoring forecasted weather conditions to ensure successful completion of weather dependent field activities.
Field activities require travel to and from each site utilizing a personal vehicle and interfacing with client personnel at a facility level. Travel and flexibility of working hours is required to accommodate stormwater sampling requirements based on qualifying rain events.
Field activities may require working in all types of field conditions/weather, overtime, and on weekends.

The Project Analyst will report to the Operations Manager and support development of program designs aligning with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) guidance and state guiding principles, lead reporting and data analytics within an assigned state or across multiple states and provide project management support. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Work as part of an energy efficiency and electrification team ensuring the administration, implementation, and verification of federally funded energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
Develop reporting that aligns with DOE requirements and provides operations leadership insights to improve operations.
Create and streamline processes in collaboration with the Operations Manager and other program leadership to reduce effort and improve timeliness, predictability and quality of outputs.
Conduct QA/QC of program processes and protocols, offering improvements and recommendations.
Support contract management, including reporting and tracking program performance and metrics.
Directly assist in the resolution of program operation and management issues.
Lead or support project management activities by providing project management tools, facilitating meetings and/or following-up with action items from assigned team members.
Review project application forms by customers, contractors, engineers/consultants, and other program participants to ascertain compliance with program policies and procedures as needed.
Maintain, update, and add entries to the system databases accurately.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

LFG Specialties LLC, an APTIM company, located in Findlay, Ohio, is growing and in need of a qualified Co-op/intern to join our team. We are a leading original equipment manufacturer of landfill gas extraction, compression, combustion (i.e. flares), and leachate remediation equipment utilized in the solid waste industry. This will be a temporary position.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Responsible for coordination between the service manager and the team members (technicians, shop, project managers) including: tools drawings and parts are ready for each job.
Responsible for programing small parts sales (controllers) through working with the Sales Manager and the shipping/receiving department.
Strong communication will be needed with the service manager, service technicians through technical and administrative support for our landfill gas service department.
Organizes and coordinates projects' documentation (drawings, reports, safety paperwork, calibrations, etc.) in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
Modification/design using AutoCAD for field work, given from service technicians, to clean up AS LEFT documentation. Design improvements/suggestion to system to be presented to the Service and Project Managers.
Work in Shop environment through the fabrication process for quality assurance checks.
Travel to site will be expected once per rotation.
Ensures effective communications.
Other duties as assigned.
Project within Service with a deliverable due before for the end of the rotation, expected report and presentation after each rotation on the project, lessons learned and growth potential.
Basic Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Provides technical guidance to project team including development of mass and energy balances, P&IDs, equipment specifications, control narratives, and leading HAZOP reviews.

This role will primarily focus on support of retail, logistics, and hospitality market clients. The successful candidate will manage environmental compliance projects from proposal through execution to invoicing. The candidate will have experience delegating work, training and mentoring junior staff, and working directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Responsible for supporting the development of proposal scopes of work and cost estimates using internal cost estimating tools.
Responsible for managing projects to ensure the successful completion of projects within established schedules and budgets.
