We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to expand QUA's presence in the United States by managing and growing relationships with Architect & Engineering (AE) firms and EPC companies. This role will focus on driving specifications, prequalification, and project adoption of QUA's membrane product portfolio across municipal and industrial water/wastewater applications. This will be a remote job.
This role will focus on:
* Driving product pre qualification and specification for QUA membranes in both industrial and municipal projects.
* Positioning UF, MBR, and FEDI products with engineering firms, consultants, and utilities to ensure QUA is consistently included in bids and project designs.
* Collaborating with QUA's global development team to advance NSF and other regulatory certifications as well as site pilots critical for market access and adoption.
The Sales Manager will serve as QUA's primary commercial interface for AE/EPC accounts in the U.S., working closely with distributors, OEMs, and Aquatech's global teams to deliver sustained growth.

Aquatech is looking for a full-time Director of Project Development (USA) for Water & Critical Minerals to lead early stage project development and other BOO/BOT/DBOM/PPP projects in North America. The Director of Project Development will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.
The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end development of water and critical minerals projects, from concept to financial close. This role requires hands-on management of technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects to screen, qualify, and advance projects through feasibility, permitting, and financing. Key Responsibilities
1. Project Origination & Screening

* Build and manage a sales funnel of high-potential projects using market data, industry trends, and stakeholder networks.
* Screen leads for technical viability, market demand, and alignment with company strategy.
2. Feasibility & Techno-Commercial Analysis
* Conduct pre-feasibility studies (technical, financial, environmental) to assess project risks/returns.
* Support building of financial models (NPV, IRR, DSCR) to evaluate project economics and funding requirements.
* Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and offtakers to validate design assumptions and commercial terms.
3. Stakeholder & Regulatory Management
* Lead permitting efforts with federal/state agencies (EPA, USACE, BLM) and local communities.
* Negotiate term sheets with EPC contractors, technology providers, and offtakers.
* Engage investors, lenders, and grant agencies to secure financing (project finance, PPPs, grants).
4. Sales Pipeline Development
* Qualify leads using criteria such as resource availability, permitting timelines, and ROI thresholds.
* Prepare pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for clients, partners, and investors.
* Convert opportunities into bankable projects by securing LOIs, MOUs, or binding agreements.
* BOO/DBOOM/BOOT - PPP projects
5. Project Financing Support
* Interface with CFOs and financial advisors to structure debt/equity financing.
* Prepare sources & uses statements and support due diligence for lenders/investors.
* Ensure compliance with ESG standards (e.g., IFC Performance Standards) to attract sustainable capital.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.

The ideal candidate will review and prepare Request For Proposals (RFPs) for water treatment and wastewater recycle treatment systems.
Job Description:
* Review RFPs for wastewater treatment/recycle systems.
* Prepare appropriate responses in the form of proposal to RFPs, including developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Hydraulic Flow diagram (HFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
* Coordinate with draftsperson in preparing above mentioned drawings.
* Perform process calculations to properly size treatment processes and equipment.
* Prepare technical clarifications and deviations to the RFP specifications both process and mechanical.
* Develop inquiries and solicit quotations for sub-vendor(s) equipment and components to assemble the proposal with technical and cost details of a complete integrated system.
* Develop cost estimate and budget for the proposed system.
* Compile sections of the proposal comprising specific technical data and descriptions, performance guarantees, warranty and technical clarifications.
* Assist sales manager in responding to customers' technical queries.
* Prepare a Turn Over Package for each successful proposal.
* Develop and improve process calculations spreadsheets and technical documentation required for proposal preparation and subsequently for project execution.
* Provide Process support during system commissioning/start-up to commissioning engineer and support troubleshooting technical issues.
* Working in close collaboration with Applied Testing Laboratory at the office premises to develop and verify treatment process and performance guarantees, which may require benchtop testing and/or lab piloting.
Skill Requirements:
* Prior experience in the preparation of proposals involving oil-water separation equipment, bar screens and grit chamber, conventional and advanced biological treatment processes (aerobic/anoxic/anaerobic activated sludge, fixed film, Moving Bed, Sequencing Batch reactor, Membrane Bioreactor) and sludge conditioning/dewatering equipment is required. Experience of designing wastewater recycle treatment systems comprising membrane filtration and reverse osmosis unit is desirable. Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment design for municipal, Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (HPI), steel, semiconductor & electronics, renewable fuels and other chemical industrial applications is required.
* The candidate will be able to communicate effectively internally and with customers and maintain positive attitude and good organizational skills, plan and manage multiple tasks or projects, and apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to use personal computer (MS office products) and internet at a high level of proficiency is MUST.
